It Starts Long Before Your Event Day
Most people think booking a photo booth is simple — you call, we show up, done. And while we make it feel that easy, there's actually a lot happening behind the scenes from the moment you reach out.
The Consultation Every booking starts with a real conversation. We want to know everything about your event — the venue, the vibe, the colors, the guest count, the timeline. Are you doing a classic print layout or something fully custom? Do you want a flower wall backdrop or a sequin curtain? Is this a black-tie wedding in Saratoga Springs or a fun Sweet 16 in Albany? Or a big actavation set up in NYC

The Custom Print Design One of our favorite parts of the process happens weeks before your event — designing your custom print template. Our team creates a layout that matches your colors, your theme, and your personal style. Whether it's your names and wedding date in elegant script, your company logo on a clean branded template, or a fun birthday design with balloons and confetti — every print is designed specifically for you.
No generic templates. No cookie-cutter designs. Yours is yours.
The Venue Walkthrough For larger events — especially weddings at venues like The Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, Hall of Springs, or any of the major Capital Region venues — we do a venue walkthrough before the big day. We scope out the best location for the booth, check the power outlets, measure the space, and coordinate with the venue coordinator to make sure everything runs seamlessly.
The Day Before — Prep & Load Out
The day before your event our team starts prepping. Every piece of equipment gets cleaned, tested, and packed with care.
Equipment Check Every camera gets tested. Every printer gets a test print run. Every backdrop gets steamed and inspected. Every prop box gets organized. We don't show up and hope things work — we know everything is working before we ever leave the door.
The Van Gets Loaded Our van gets packed the night before for larger events. Camera equipment, printer, backdrop stands, flower wall panels, prop boxes, extension cords, tape, zip ties — you name it, it's in there. We've learned over hundreds of events that being overprepared is the only way to be prepared.
Event Day — The Setup
Arrival Time We typically arrive 60-90 minutes before your guests do. This gives us plenty of time to set up without rushing — and trust us, rushing is never the vibe we want before your event.
Setting Up the Booth Setting up a full luxury glam booth experience takes about 45-60 minutes. Here's what that looks like:
Unload and carry equipment into the venue
Set up the backdrop stand and hang the backdrop or flower wall panels
Position the booth camera and lighting setup
Connect to power and test all connections
Load the custom print template into the system
Run 5-10 test prints to make sure colors are perfect
Set up the prop table
Do a final lighting check
Brief the venue coordinator on our setup
By the time your guests arrive, everything looks like it's always been there. That's exactly how we like it.
The Flower Wall If you've booked our luxury flower wall — this takes a little extra love. Each panel gets carefully assembled, the flowers get fluffed and arranged, and the whole wall gets a final inspection to make sure it looks absolutely stunning. Flower walls are one of our most popular add-ons and we treat every single one like it's going in a magazine.
During Your Event — More Than Just Standing There
A lot of people assume our attendant just stands next to the booth and watches. The reality is very different.
Your Booth Attendant Every O Snap Booths event includes a professional, friendly, fully trained attendant. Their job is to:

Real-Time Quality Control Throughout your event our attendant is monitoring every photo and every print. If something doesn't look right — the lighting shifts, a print comes out slightly off — we catch it and fix it immediately. Your guests should never know anything was wrong.
Digital Sharing Station While guests are taking photos, our system is simultaneously sending every image to our digital sharing platform. Guests can grab their phones, scan the QR code, and have their photos sent via text or email instantly. No waiting. No app download. Just instant memories.
After the Last Photo — Breakdown & Beyond
When the event ends our work isn't over. Not even close.
The Breakdown Breaking down takes about 30-45 minutes. We pack everything carefully, clean up our area completely, and make sure the venue looks exactly like we weren't there — except for the hundreds of photo strips your guests took home!
The Photo Gallery After every event we upload your complete photo gallery to a private online gallery link. You'll receive this within 24-48 hours of your event. Every single photo from the night — perfectly organized, downloadable, and shareable. Your guests can access it too.
The Follow Up We love hearing from our clients after their events. Did your guests love the booth? Did the prints come out exactly how you imagined? We follow up after every event because your experience matters to us — not just during the event but after it too.
